Individual and relational/ couple Therapy

For many people in Asian, Black, Brown, and immigrant communities, healing has long lived in ancestral practices, spiritual life, community, movement, food, ritual, and relationships that predate and exist outside of Western clinical therapy. Thus, my approach to therapy welcomes the integration of all the elements in your life that bring healing to you.

I see therapy as a journey of reconnecting with ourselves and with others. People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons, career, family, loss, trauma, and each one is worth honoring. Together, we explore the sources of your struggles and suffering, and we draw on your internal and external resources to empower you: to heal the past, savor the present, and create hope for the future.

Consultation

What distinguishes consultation services from workshops is the depth of relationship I build with you, whether an individual, an organization, or a community. These services are for people who hold the mindset of human community and collective wellbeing as their priority.

Often, we encounter roadblocks along the path toward those values. This is completely normal. We're working to undo patterns woven into our history and our present social systems. My role as a consultant is to help you and your community move through those obstacles together.
