This is a question many people sit with before reaching out.Maybe you're going through something painful right now and you want a direction, a way to find your footing again. That's often the clearer signal. But maybe you just know you've been carrying something for a long time, long enough to believe that's just life. On the surface, the days go on. Sometimes you can't quite name what feels off. You don't have to be in crisis, and you don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.Therapy can be a good fit when you're navigating stress, life transitions, grief, relationships, identity, or the loneliness of carrying experiences that others in your life may not fully understand. It can also be a place to make sense of what it means to live in a body, a family, and a community shaped by migration, race, culture, and systems that you have to shoehorn yourself into. There's no single "right" reason to begin. If part of you is curious, that curiosity is worth your attention. A 15-minute consultation call can be a low-pressure way to sense whether this feels like the right space for you, and if it turns out not to be, I'm glad to help you think about what might serve you better.Therapy is also one path among many. Healing lives in community, spiritual practice, ancestral wisdom, movement, rest, and relationships. Therapy can sit alongside those. My hope is to support your wholeness in a way that honors what already sustains you.
